Seems like this summer is not as hot (so-far) as last summer. Been working on a personal project (more about that on this blog soon), driving around and shooting outdoors has been pleasant compared with a year ago.

When I was a kid, I lived in a neighborhood near a lake. Everyone had sailboats. We experimented with making our own “land yachts”. We got to go pretty fast down one of the roads, almost causing some traffic incidents with our home-made contraptions. Our parents shut it down eventually. So, my interest was piqued when I read this article about a wind-powered land speed record.
