About the outdoors:
Some days feel incredibly sedentary. Especially when there is a ton of post-production work, or reorganizing my stock (which I have been doing solidly for the last month). Sometimes I get so focused that an entire day flies by without any exercise. Frustrating. Time to get outdoors.
This last Sunday I got to go hang gliding. Flew 31 miles from one flying site in TN to another in GA. Sweet summer air, with some gorgeous scenery.

It was a really fun flight. Nothing like a little air-time to clear the cob-webs.

What inspires you to get outdoors? The video above is part of a joint endeavor between Timex Expedition and the Conservation Alliance. It features environmentalist and author Yvon Chouinard, founder of Chouinard Equipment, Patagonia and One Percent for the Planet. (I remember, when I was a teenager, climbing El Capitan in Yosemite for the first time, and hanging thousands of feet up from “in-situ” Chouinard Pitons that had been left there by other climbers. Chouinard was an inspiration then as he is now).
Check out the Timex Expedition Website. Jimmy Chin is featured here too.
